The deceased soldier was accorded a Military funeral. Firing party, pall bearers and Bugler were in attendance, also a number of Officers, including Major M.H.B. Nethersole (Squadron Commander) and Captain N.L. Sheppard (Squadron Adjutant).
The following wreaths were placed on the grave:- from W.O.'s, N.C.O's and men of 43rd Training Squadron R.A.F. Officers of 43rd Training Squadron R.A.F., and Parents, Brothers and sisters in Australia.
Administrative Headquarters A.I.F. London, were represented at the funeral.

Son of the late Charles Stuart MacDonald and Margaret MacDonald.
